Happy Birthday, Aidan

Aidan was 6 months on Saturday (January 29th). It's hard to believe that our little boy is half a year old already and we've never met. We love you sweet baby boy and can't wait to spend MANY more birthdays together.

6/4/11- Forever Home and Forever a Family
5/31/11- Embassy! We're cleared!!! We leave for the U.S in 3 days!
5/30/11- Took Custody of Aidan!
5/27/11~ Arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
5/24/11~Left for Ethiopia
5/16/11~ We have our Embassy date! May 31st- We should take custody of Aidan either the 29th or 30th. :)
5/12/11~ Cleared to travel by the U.S embassy (we've passed our last major hurdle). Hopefully, we'll have travel dates next week. :)
5/3/11~ We've been submitted to the U.S embassy! We're getting close now!!!
4/22/11~ Overnighted new paperwork required by the U.S embassy for anyone submitted after April 25th.
4/21/11 ~ Aidan has our last name! We were emailed both his birth certificate (with his new name) and court decree. He is ours and we are his!
4/12/11 ~ Aidan is in Addis!!! One step closer to bringing him HOME.
3/22/11 ~ More photos and YES, he's in pink AGAIN. :)
3/22/11 ~ Our court decree is in Ethiopia! Aidan is officially our son!!!! Happy Day!!!
3/14/11 ~ Health Update (our little prince is getting so big!)
3/8/11~ Met our son's birthmother. Words can never express our gratitude.

1/19/11~ Booked our flight. We're going to Ethiopia, baby!

1/4/11~ Confirmation that I-171H paperwork is in Ethiopia!
1/3/11~ Court date notification...March 8th! We'll meet our son for the first time on March 7th!!!! We're overjoyed. Words can not express the excitement in our hearts.
12/8/10~ Notification (after an email) that we are being submitted for a court date! One step closer.
