FINALLY (Oh, Happy Day)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We've been submitted to the U.S embassy!!!!!

Based on other's experiences/timeframes, we should hear sometime next week that we've been approved. From there our agency will request an interview and let us know our travel dates. We could travel as soon as 2-4 weeks from now! Oh, happy day, Aidan. Mommy and Daddy are coming to bring you home!!!!!!

Thanks gals. I was getting pretty discouraged with Mother's Day approaching so quickly and even though we won't be over there then, I'm VERY HAPPY that we're on our way. You'll be here before you know it, Kristel and Lindsey. Jill, you already know how awesome this ride is. :)

Aidan's Adoption Journey

6/4/11- Forever Home and Forever a Family
5/31/11- Embassy! We're cleared!!! We leave for the U.S in 3 days!
5/30/11- Took Custody of Aidan!
5/27/11~ Arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
5/24/11~Left for Ethiopia
5/16/11~ We have our Embassy date! May 31st- We should take custody of Aidan either the 29th or 30th. :)
5/12/11~ Cleared to travel by the U.S embassy (we've passed our last major hurdle). Hopefully, we'll have travel dates next week. :)
5/3/11~ We've been submitted to the U.S embassy! We're getting close now!!!
4/22/11~ Overnighted new paperwork required by the U.S embassy for anyone submitted after April 25th.
4/21/11 ~ Aidan has our last name! We were emailed both his birth certificate (with his new name) and court decree. He is ours and we are his!
4/12/11 ~ Aidan is in Addis!!! One step closer to bringing him HOME.
3/22/11 ~ More photos and YES, he's in pink AGAIN. :)
3/22/11 ~ Our court decree is in Ethiopia! Aidan is officially our son!!!! Happy Day!!!
3/14/11 ~ Health Update (our little prince is getting so big!)
3/8/11~ Met our son's birthmother. Words can never express our gratitude.
